This article describes how to set-up the SimplyDo integration with Monday.com. This integration:

Syncs ideas and idea data through to Monday.com as they are submitted to a challenge.

Keeps the ideas up-to-date as their status changes (e.g. lane or assessment score).

1. Introduction
The SimplyDo integration for Monday.com is a great feature for ensuring that idea data is synced through to your CRM in real-time from SimplyDo.
Typical advantages for this integration include:

Advantages if you are an existing user of Monday.com;

You have staff that use or are trained on Monday.com, and they can use this to access SimplyDo data;

You can view more of your organisational data from one location;

“Set-up and forget”: Once configured, SimplyDo will continue to automatically send data through to Monday.com in real-time;

You can use Monday.com as an additional back-up system.
The integration does not:

Read or access any of your other Monday.com data;

Delete any data in your Monday.com account.
2. Setting-up the integration
To complete the setup, first navigate to your challenge and find the settings button.
On the “Connections” tab, tap the “Connect to Monday.com” button.
On the next screen, give SimplyDo access to your Monday.com account by clicking “Authorize”.
And that’s it! Ideas will now begin to flow through into Monday.com as they are submitted and updated. They’ll be placed in item groups according to their “lane” on the SimplyDo project management board.
